What about mirrors? Could we add mirrors?
And...
- spiral staircases that seem to keep unraveling
- Maybe an "arcade" zone
- Ball pit
- Shaking bridges
- Mist spraying machines
- Tube-like slides
- Psychedelic rooms that make you feel weird
- Maze
- Rope ladders
- Smoke/fog machines (very dense!)

Just suggestions
Hi,this is my first post.

A few other classic fun house stunts include:
A bridge of floating barrels
collapsing staircases
large heads where you walk through the mouth
trap doors
stairs that turn into slides
hallways with a conveyor belt that moves in the opposite direction of the way you walk
slides from the top of the building to the base
and factory stile conveyor belts that have multiple splits and elevation changes.

I hope this helps!(:
- Psychedelic rooms that make you feel weird

Just thought i'd mention this one particular one as i know a prime famous example... of one of my favourites... where you walk along a path in a tunnel and the tunnel is spinning creating the feeling your going upside down and you loose your balance. It's a great mind trick!

Many of those would be a basic funhouse item, the arcade for arcades.

Yeah those should also be added as parts of perhaps a Funhouse Construction set.

Yeah that has been around for over 100 years now. There are essentially four funhouse types. The Hedge Maze, Glass House, Hall of Mirrors, generic funhouse. A "Funhouse Construction set" within the game might help to make this a great add-on for TPB3D.
What actually defines a fun house? Would Duel at Alton Towers be considered one? It's like a haunted house but with Fun House features (i.e. a spinning tunnel) It's also an interactive ride as you shoot the things that pop out at you.
The descriminating feature is whether you walk or ride a through the building. If you walk it's a funhouse, if you ride it's a dark-ride.

Obviously fun houses could have a horror theme, or undersea, or anything, similarly dark rides don't have to be horror themed it could be something entirely different, Cat in The Hat at IOA springs to mind as a non-horror darkride.
Yes a funhouse is a walkthru and I am thinking it would be laying out a pat or paths, then segregating them with walls and adding the effects. Perhaps a simple maze generator done through the BG would suffice for most indoor funhouses, likewise the Bg could also be used to instantly create a unique hedge or outdoor maze, like walls that are hedge covered and no roof. I think that can easily be performed.

I remember there were some old Java based games that instantly generated 3D mazes you played online, so this should be doable. A funhouse construction set with many animated and decorative pieces should work fine in cooperation with the BG.
I'm sorry if what I'm saying is wierd or out of place, but, what laser effects which disorientate your eyes and might make you dizzy?
How about the simplest of things, i didnt see, things that hang down from the ceiling...Like punch bags, or how about those carpet roller things, i used to do those in B&Q (USA peeps, diy store(not sure if you have B&Q over there)), thanks.
I'd expect the answer is yes and no. He meant a roller covered in carpet as a funhouse item, certainly. But the reference to work was probobly an allusion to bulk rolls of carpet for sale rather than any sort of actual item for the game.
Hi! I was playing the Funhouse pinball machine last night, and got an idea for the funhouse construction set. A wind tunnel would be fun to walk through. Also a giant head that seems to interact with you like the animation screens at disney. I can't wait for the game. It will be so much better than RCT3 :norct: I hope this helps!

Those are good suggestions but I don't think i've ever seen those in a funhouse

Actually in 2001 I had the first one in RCT2, glass house and hall of mirrors though limited at that time.

Yes even to this day I have custodianed my work to continue to entertain others. Why, because their happiness is all I ever wanted as with tpb3d. Here is the link to some of my old work.

The first real glass and mirror houses are here...lol They might show you a side of the rides you haven't yet seen. Either way they are posted only as an example.

What about those crazy mirrors that are all wavy and bent? Would those be too complex to simulate?

A huge spinning turntable where people are slid off by centrifugal force?

An upside-down room?

I remember Aladdin's Castle of Riverview, Chicago. It had windows along the path that you would look through and see different scenes of horror.

Spiral Slide? (Or was that mentioned already?)

Triggers for loud sounds like horns, buzzers & bells?
