Ya gotta admire the CEO and the old gang of 2006 for taking a successful business and turning it to utter crap. Here let me do an imitation quote. “Veee stiffed da developah un da original foundah,"
nice one man! You also stiffed the entire TORCG3 culture as well, which I am sure that you deserve
a medal for. About the only ones better than your 2006 group were the GM folks in the American states. They stiffed a few more people, but they got away with more and dropped harder because :aktion: they are bigger. Unfortunately a handful of crappy games doesn’t cover it
( important note to remember ) listening to your original customers, (while they are still loyal paying customers ) does cut it. Makes a much better product too. A mild suggestion, take “Economics 101” and ask them if not paying royalties to your development resource and ignoring your customers is great business? While you go back to business economics 101, we’ll be seizing the future and partying all the time.
:gig:
That my good friends is why I am telling each and everyone of you here to gather all your friends together. We are winning the battles and the war too, creating a history that billions will enjoy over the coming years around the entire globe and beyond perhaps. TPB3D is more than freedom, it truly shows that you the community are making a global difference that will influence the masses for times to come. Yeah these are the infant growing years, but soon the infant becomes a kid and a tough new kid this will be. Later the kid gets older and so does tpb3d as an older kid to be reckoned with. At the very onset, a lot of folks laughed at those who worked hard here. TORCG3 has around 75 attractions from the original manufacturer including their original 2 expansion packs. We have 112 in the repository and a flood of new attractions coming shortly that will soon double that and go way beyond. That is just the start. Theme packs, just check out the progress on several, including Santa’s Village release pack. The work there by that artist modeler is incredible. You got the basic popular rides in TORCG3, but they don’t have the other rides that have come and gone. Look at their Octopus and it isn’t even a real Octopus, ours is. This my many friends is the difference. When the world community makes them, they make them right! Corporations may be good for certain things, but unless there is big money involved, they make policies that flip you off as a consumer. The world community does not. Instead we find new friends and pledge to something in common, and we have something a lot of corporations only dream of. A solid future as a culture. Corporations come and go, but the global community is here and now and they will only grow. Open source is rapidly showing a brand new global participation amongst friends that no corporation will ever compete against. Later when you need help using tpb3d, a quick post at a forum will bring many answers, that will make any tech support department that fleeces your pockets faster than the bobsleds at amusement parks, feel like a bunch of trolls at Magic Mountain, who lost their magic.
There is strength in numbers. This has been repeated time and time again. I guess looking back at all of this from the very start, it was kicked off when our good friend Ken Allen failed at making Coaster Madness into something we could rally around, after being abandoned by Bruno and the gang..
..way to go guys. You dumped your users like people dump in the toilet without using “Charmin.“ That is a great business strategy to treat your paid customers too, and let me again remind you I am a paid customer
So what does this mean for all of you and the future? Well it means you woke up, realized that you can make the future happen and if each one of you makes a contribution large or small, we all win. In fact the power of the masses over the coming years will make this into something much grander than any of us can now imagine. There will be a global web of places to visit and enjoy. So great that government websites will embrace what we started for their local tourism. Ride manufacturers will use tpb3d to make rides, amusement parks in real life will let visitors experience their parks online to get them there for real. The TPB3D path you are all making now, will be trodden upon by the globe and you will have participated in a global history well beyond anything ever imagined. Remember that a snowball rolling downhill becomes a boulder only by its travel. Today we are traveling light and small, tomorrow, we will all be “IT.” A community around the globe of friends all having fun, making history and meeting people we never knew; and what of that corporation whose logo flips customers the bird in red and white? “Who cares??? The future belongs to those willing to seize it, you made it happen and found new friends too. There is no better price for that, enjoying the future with your friends and most of all having lotsa fun
