Googling, I found a web site including every flat ride I've ever heard of.

Googling more, I found a list of rides, attractions, and buildings used at the New York State Fair, and never used again...

Googling even more, I found a web site that has great descriptions (and even some photos) of really old dark rides and fun houses, as early as the 1900s.
